Play with Purpose — Transform Your Music Practice
Are you or your child spending hours at the piano but not seeing results? This course is designed to help students (and parents!) practice with clarity, structure, and purpose — so every minute at the piano brings progress and confidence.
In this introductory recording, I share:
🎵 How to set small, achievable practice goals
🎵 Why mindful practice matters more than practice time
🎵 Simple strategies to stay focused and motivated
🎵 Encouragement to bring joy back into your daily music-making
Whether you’re a student who feels “stuck,” a parent guiding your child’s practice, or an adult returning to piano, Play with Purpose will give you practical tools to practice smarter, not longer.
About the Instructor
I’m Dr. Hye-Won Cho, a Juilliard-trained pianist with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from UCLA. I currently serve as an adjunct professor of piano at Biola University, and I have spent decades helping students of all ages discover the joy of music-making. My mission is to transform practice from frustration into freedom — one intentional step at a time.
